How to troubleshoot Simoniz S2000 Pressure Washer motor that will not start?
    • J
      John WhiteAug 20, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer motor won't start, first ensure the On/Off switch is in the “ON” ( | ) position. Check that the power cord is properly plugged in. If you're using an extension cord, make sure it's either a 25’ (7.6 m) 14/3 gauge cord or a 50’ (15 m) 14/3 gauge cord. Try a different electrical outlet to rule out power issues. Finally, if the pressure washer circuit breaker has tripped, allow the unit to cool before restarting it.

What to do if Simoniz S2000 motor buzzes but fails to run?
    • A
      allison56Aug 22, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer motor buzzes but fails to run, first, verify that the pressure washer is the only appliance running on its circuit to ensure adequate supply voltage. If there's residual pressure, turn the unit “OFF”, squeeze the trigger on the spray wand to release the pressure, and then turn the unit “ON.” Unplug any extension cords and plug the unit directly into the outlet to eliminate voltage loss. If the pressure washer hasn't been used for a long period, call the Toll-Free Hotline. In case of residual friction among components try disconnecting the water supply and powering the unit ON for 2 to 3 seconds, repeating a couple of times until the motor starts.

What to do if my Simoniz S2000 does not reach high pressure?
    • A
      April HardingAug 26, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, start by replacing your garden hose with a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) hose. Ensure your water supply isn't restricted by checking the hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages, and fully open the water source. Clean the water inlet filter by removing and rinsing it in warm water. Make sure the power nozzle is set to a high-pressure tip. Also, check for air in the pump by ensuring hoses and fittings are airtight; then, with the machine turned off, squeeze the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges from the nozzle.

How to fix Simoniz S2000 when there is no water coming out?
    • E
      Ethan TorresAug 28, 2025
If no water is coming out of your Simoniz Pressure Washer, check that the quick-connect assembly is properly attached, ensuring the inlet adapter (G2) is connected to the machine’s water inlet and the quick-connect coupler (G1) is attached to the garden hose. Also, make sure the water supply is turned ON and that there are no kinks in the garden hose.

Why is the detergent not working in my Simoniz S2000?
    • H
      Holly BlackwellAug 30, 2025
If the detergent is not working with your Simoniz Pressure Washer, first, make sure the detergent container is not empty and add more detergent if needed. Check that the detergent bottle or suction tube is properly connected. If the detergent is too thick, dilute it. Clean the filter on the detergent suction tube by running warm water through it to remove any build-up. If the detergent suction tube is damaged or clogged, remove the obstruction or replace the tube. Finally, ensure that you are using the low pressure (black) tip, as the nozzle should not be in the high-pressure position when using detergent. Also check for any obstruction in the discharge nozzle and blow out or remove any debris with a fine needle.

Why is my Simoniz S2000 Pressure Washer not drawing detergent?
    • F
      fraziersarahSep 6, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer isn't drawing detergent or cleaning solvents, make sure the spray wand is set to low pressure. A clogged detergent filter can also be the problem, so clean it. Ensure the detergent screen is fully submerged in the cleaning solution. If the detergent or cleaning solvent is too thick, dilute it to the consistency of water. Use a longer water supply hose instead of a long high-pressure hose. If there's a buildup in the chemical injector, have it cleaned or replaced by a certified mechanic.
