Why is my Simoniz S1400 motor running but the pump not building maximum pressure?
    • Q
      qbradleyAug 1, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer motor isn't building maximum pressure or has irregular pressure, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the faucet is fully open. If the unit was exposed to freezing temperatures, thaw it completely, including the hose, gun, and wand. Check and clean the water inlet screen if it's clogged. To remove air from the pump, run the pressure washer with the gun open and the wand removed until a steady stream of water is released. Also, make sure the adjustable pressure knob is set to the maximum position. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the suction or discharge valves might be clogged or worn out, or the bypass valve may not be operating effectively.

How to troubleshoot a Simoniz Pressure Washer when the motor will not start?
    • Q
      qjohnsonAug 7, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer motor won't start or stops while operating, there are a few potential causes. Check the circuit breaker or fuse box; a tripped breaker or blown fuse could be the issue. Try disconnecting other appliances on the same circuit and reset the breaker or replace the fuse. Also, ensure the plug is securely connected. If the issue persists, allow the unit to cool down before restarting.

Why does the circuit breaker trip when I use my Simoniz S1400?
    • H
      huangshawnaAug 13, 2025
If the circuit breaker trips or a fuse blows when using your Simoniz Pressure Washer, it could be due to a circuit overload. Ensure the circuit is rated for 15A or greater. The extension cord might also be too long or the wire size too small; use the recommended extension cord as specified in the Operator's Manual. Another potential cause is a partially blocked nozzle, which you can clean as instructed.

What to do if my Simoniz S1400 has no intake of chemicals?
    • D
      Diane GuerreroAug 19, 2025
If your Simoniz Pressure Washer isn't taking in chemicals, make sure the injection tube is firmly inserted into the machine. Check the tube for cracks or splits and replace it if necessary. Ensure the nozzle is set to low-pressure. Also, inspect the nozzle and injection tube strainer for any blockages and clean them. If there are dried chemicals in the injector, dissolve them by running warm water through the injection tube.
