7E Tuff Torq K210A
41. Install shims in left side cover equal in thickness to
the total measured end play of reduction shaft, minus
approximately 0.1mm for desired end play.
42. Adjust washers on fork shaft and shift shaft for proper
end play.
43. Install left side transaxle case as before with six bolts.

48. Apply grease to the left side axle seal and install the
left axle shaft into case. Press roller bearing onto
shaft. Install washer and external retaining ring.
49. Tap on inside edge of axle shaft to drive axle shaft
and retaining ring against roller bearing.
50. Install washer on axle shaft against retaining ring.
51. Repeat steps 48–50 for right side transaxle case.

47. Remove gear cluster from case. (Do not lose right
side bearing washer.)
44. Measure backlash of input shaft to reduction shaft
using dial indicator on spline of input shaft.
Input Shaft Backlash: 0.20–0.35 mm
45. Re-measure fork shaft and shift shaft end play if
adjustments to shims were made.
46. Remove left side transaxle case and adjust reduction
shaft shims until backlash is correct.
