Method 3: Start Update through the Files menu
Use this method if you want to reapply the same version or apply an older version of software
to the MFD.
1 Download the software from the website and copy to media card(see “Download update file
from the website to a media card” on page 12)
1 Start the MFD
2 Insert the media card that has the update file into the card reader. Insert the card all the way in
until it clicks and stays in place
3 Activate the Home page
4 Select “FILES”
5 Select the memory card
6 Select the update file
7 Select Upgrade
8 Select OK to confirm to start the upgrade
