  If your Simrad Marine Equipment displays a normal echo picture but shows no targets or only random noise, consider these potential causes and solutions: * Verify that the correct transducer frequency is selected. Change the frequency from the Echo quick menu by pressing [ENT], then [1]. * Ensure the transducer connectors are securely mated with the unit. * Confirm that the receiver gain is set high enough. Increase the receiver gain in the Presentation setup. * Check that the range is correct for the water depth. Adjust the range in the Presentation setup.
