3. Ensure the slope grade is within the machine
gradeability.
NOTICE
Gradeability refers to the maximum permissible
percentage of the slope (or called slope grade as
below) when the machine is on solid ground with
sufficient traction and the platform is carrying only
one person. As the weight of the machine’s platform
increases, the machine’s gradeability will be reduced.
To determine the slope grade:
1. Prepare a carpenter’s level, a straight wooden
board (at least 1m [3.3ft] long) and a tape measure.
2. Measure the height (H) and length (L) of the slope.
Figure 7-5
3. Slope grade= H/L x 100%.
NOTICE
The machine must not run for over 2min on the
maximum permissible slope grade to prevent the
tires running suspended.
CONNECTOR
REPOSITIONING
In normal conditions, the connector should always
remain perpendicular to the turntable, but due to the
leakage of the connector leveling cylinder, the
connector may tilt after a long period of use. When
operating the machine, please pay attention to the
status of the connector. If the connector is tilted, please
stop using the machine immediately and reposition the
connector to restore the connector to its normal state.

The connector may be tilted in two directions: backward
tilt and forward tilt.
