– Check the position of the hitch.
– Check the operation of the floating
position.
– Check the adjusted relief pressure.
– Set the slow start-up of the machine.
– Set the number of cardan shaft
rotations to 1,000 rpm.
– Stop mowing when sudden noise or
vibration appears. Continue after
eliminating the disturbance otherwise
require service intervention.
5.1 Lifting the cutter bars when driving into new
row
When crossing from mowed to new row, both cutter
bars can be lifted up to the restriction. The lifting is
performed by cylinders for lifting the cutter bars into
transport position.
– There is a danger of hard parts flying
from the mower when mowing
(stones, blade). Nobody is allowed to
stay in the danger area of the
machine when mowing!
Lifting the cutter bars
– Switch off the swimming position.
– Lift the cutter bar (1) up to the lever restriction
(1) on the bolt (2). Attention! Do not operate
the cock with the string!
– Lift the cutter bar (2) also.
Lowering the cutter bar
– Lower the cutter bar (2) after that cutter bar (1).
– Switch on the swimming position.
– Adapt the driving speed to the
conditions.
5.2 Caution when mowing in inclination
The weight of the cutter bar can change the drive
characteristics when mowing. Especially in inclination.
– Danger of overthrow of tractor with
the machine in inclination!
From work to transport position
– Lower the upper cutter bar into work position.
– Lower the lower cutter bar into work position.
– Switch on the swimming position.
From transport to work position
– Switch off the swimming position.
– Lift the lower cutter bar.
– Lift also the upper cutter bar.
