DANGER
Danger to life due to electric shock when live components or cables are touched
High voltages are present in the conductive components or cables of the product. Touching live parts and cables
results in death or lethal injuries due to electric shock.
• Do not touch non-insulated parts or cables.
• Before performing any work or opening the product, short-circuit the secondary circuits of the current
transformers through an external short circuit device, externally disconnect the supply voltage and cables for
the current and voltage measurement.
• Observe all safety information on components associated with the product.
• Wear suitable personal protective equipment for all work on the product.
• Always perform all work in accordance with the locally applicable standards, directives and laws.
• Cover or isolate all live components.
Terminal of AC supply voltage
A supply voltage of 230VAC can be connected. Note the information on the type label of the product.
Procedure:
1. Insert the cable into the product (see Section6.10.1, page55).
2. Connect the insulated conductors to the terminal block (see Section6.10.2, page56):
• Connect the line conductor to terminal block X1 terminal 1.
• Connect the neutral conductor to terminal block X1 terminal 2.
• Connect the grounding conductor to terminal block X1 terminal 3.
3. Ensure that the insulated conductors are firmly in place.
Terminal of DC supply voltage
A supply voltage of 24VDC or 48VDC or 110VDC can be connected. Note the information on the type label of
the product.
Procedure:
1. Insert the cable into the product (see Section6.10.1, page55).
2. Connect the insulated conductors to the terminal block (see Section6.10.2, page56):
• Connect the positive conductor with +24VDC or +48VDC or +110VDC to terminal block X1 (terminal
1).
• Connect the negative conductor with -24VDC or -48VDC or to -110VDC to terminal block X1 (terminal
2).
• Connect the grounding conductor to terminal block X1 terminal 3.
3. Ensure that the insulated conductors are firmly in place.
