Procedure:
1. If a sufficient operating reserve of the genset cannot be ensured during a fast stop of the hybrid system and the
supply of the loads can thus be at risk, do not use any switching input for the Fast Stop function.
2. Insert the cable into the product (see Section6.10.1, page55).
3. Connect the insulated conductors in accordance with the customer-specific system circuitry (see Section6.10.2,
page56).
4. Ensure that the insulated conductors are firmly in place.
6.4 Measuring Systems
6.4.1 Option-Dependent Features with Measuring Modules
The product is equipped with a programmable logic controller, and depending on the supplied variant, with modules
for current and voltage measurement. Only one of the following options is realized in the supplied variant.
Variant Description For equipping with measur-
ing modules see
HybridController L Simple current and voltage measurement Section6.1.4, page28
Hybrid Controller XL 1xGMP High-precision current and voltage measure-
ment

6.4.2 Circuit Diagrams for Current and Voltage Measurement
The inputs for current and voltage measuring are designed for four-conductor utility grids with three line conductors
and one neutral conductor as well as for three-conductor utility grids with three line conductors. If another grid type is
used, the connection of the measuring device must be coordinated with SMA Solar Technology AG.
