Sand the affected area.
Clean the affected area with degreaser.
Paint the affected area.
7. Check whether all seals on the cabinet door are undamaged.
8. If a seal is damaged, contact Service.
9. Apply talcum, petroleum jelly or wax to seals. This will prevent frost damage.
8.2 Checking the Change-over Between Both System Controllers
The change-over between the active and the redundant system controller must be checked every 12 months. To do this,
trigger this change-over manually by using the integrated user interface.
Changing-over from the relay on the Redundancy Connector
During the change-over between the active and the redundant system controller, the change-over of the relays for
the digital outputs must be monitored on the Redundancy Connector (see the operating manual of the
Redundancy Connector).
Procedure:
1. On the user interface of a programmable logic controller, log in as an installer (see user manual of the
HybridController).
The home page of the user interface appears.
The home page displays a message that indicates whether you are logged on to the active or the redundant
system controller.
2. If you are logged on to the redundant system controller, switch to the home page of the active programmable
logic controller. To do this, click the [Yes] button under Do you want to switch to the active
HybridController?.
3. Trigger the manual change-over:
Select the path Home > Operations > Redundancy.
Under Redundancy configuration, select the [Switch role] button.
4. Under Current redundancy values, observe the value Role in Redundancy system.
If the Role in Redundancy system value in the This Hybrid Controller column has changed to
REDUNDANT and to ACTIVE in the Partner Hybrid Controller column, the change-over has been
completed successfully.
5. If the change-over has been completed successfully, on the user interface of the now active programmable logic
controller, log in as an installer (see user manual of the HybridController).
6. Trigger the manual change-over again.
7. Under Current redundancy values, observe the value Role in Redundancy system.
If the Role in Redundancy system value in the This Hybrid Controller column has changed to
REDUNDANT and to ACTIVE in the Partner Hybrid Controller column, the change-over has been
completed successfully again.
8. If the manual change-over could not be performed successfully, call up the error messages via the integrated user
interface (see user manual of the HybridController):
Check whether both system controllers are in operation.
Check whether both system controllers are connected correctly. Make absolutely sure that the plugs are fitted
correctly.
Check whether both system controllers communicate with each other.
