Installation Guide SB50US-80US-eng-IUS112633 71
Message 4: energy output accrued since the installation
of the inverter and the total operating hours.
Error Messages
If a fault occurs, the LCD switches into "Fault" mode and the background illumination is activated.
The upper line of the display shows one of the following fault types:
•Disturbance
The Sunny Boy has detected a problem with the
frequency of the power distribution grid. The
message ends automatically as soon as the fault is
rectified. Disturbances are caused if a measured
value exceeds a preset limit.
The display shows the value of the fault (at:) as well
as the current value for the corresponding
parameter (present:).
•Warning
The GFDI fuse is cleared. Warning messages
display a plant status that must be investigated. The
inverter may be operational despite a warning
message.
•Fault
The inverter has detected a problem with the
internal ROM. A fault status prevents a restart of the
inverter until the fault is rectified.
Knocking on the lid of the inverter takes you to the next display message.
Each error message is displayed for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the LCD scrolls through
the regular operation messages.
The error message will be displayed in the display sequence until the fault is rectified.
