The smart radio five is a class 1
laser product. Laser radiation
invisible to the naked eye can be
released if the housing is opened
or damaged.
Do not open the housing. The smart
radio five does not contain any user
serviceable parts. For safety reasons
all servicing should be performed
exclusively by qualified customer
service specialists.
4-2 CDmode
General instructions
The smart radio five cannot play audio
CDs with copy protection.
Handle CDs carefully in order to prevent
faults during playback. Avoid getting
scratches, finger prints and dust on the
CD. You should not write on CDs or glue
anything onto them.
Clean CDs regularly using a cloth.
Do not use solvents or anti-static sprays
for cleaning. Put the CD back into the CD
case after use. Protect the CD from heat
and direct sunlight.
Using CDs
- Handle CDs carefully in order to avoid
playback disturbances.
- Avoid getting scratches, finger prints
and dust on the CD.
~ Do not glue any labels or write on the CD,
- From time to time you should clean your
CDs with a standard commercial
cleaning cloth. Do not wipe the CD
using circular movements, but rather
in straight lines line from the inside
toward the outside. Do not use any
solvents, antistatic sprays, etc.
- Put the CD back into the CD case
after use.
- Protect the CD from heat and direct
sunlight.
