Why does my Smeg Washer take so long to wash?
- BBrandy BurgessSep 8, 2025
Several factors can cause your Smeg washer to take longer than usual. Low water pressure can cause the machine to wait until it has enough water, extending the wash time. Low voltage can also prolong the washing time to ensure good results. A low input water temperature means the machine needs more time to heat the water. Additionally, the number of rinses or the amount of rinse water may have increased. Excessive foam from too much detergent can also activate the automatic foam absorption system, adding to the wash time. To prevent this, use the recommended amount of detergent.
