Inspect
all
parts
for
wear
or
damage,
replace
as
required.
Replace
all
seals
and
gaskets.
If
bearings
require
replacement,
position
bearing
cage
flush
with
machined
surface
of
bearing
cage
flush
with
machined
surface
of
bearing
bore
and
press
against
let¬
tered
side
of
bearing.

Install
input
shaft
into
case.
Use
a
soft
mallet
to
seat
shaft
completely
in
cover.

rotating

install
in
place.

case

cover
does
not
go

pletely
together,
rotate

gears

mesh.
Case
should
drop
to
about
1
/4
inch
from
cover.
