2c. If present, remove the C-Clip or retaining device from the tilt rod.
2d. Disengage the tilt rod by sliding it out and away from the tilt mechanism. NOTE: Pliers may be needed for this step.
2e. If you have a wand tilt mechanism, gently twist and remove it from the headrail. NOTE: Pliers may be needed for this step.
NOTE: If you have tilt cords go to step 2f.
