The Sony CBK-RPU7 Remote Production Unit is a video transmission device designed for high-quality, low-latency video data transmission, supporting resolutions up to 4K 60p. It incorporates a Sony-developed codec chip with QoS technology and an HEVC codec for efficient compression. The unit supports both wired LAN connections and wireless video transmission via USB connection to compatible 5G communication devices, making it suitable for mobile live broadcast production.
Function Description:
The CBK-RPU7 serves as a central hub for remote video production, enabling the transmission of video, audio, and ancillary signals over various networks. It allows users to configure streaming settings, monitor transmission status, and manage the unit through a web-based interface. The device supports ultra-low latency transmission for both 4K and HD signals. It can be attached to camcorders using rods or camera mount brackets, offering flexibility in setup.
