Turn tile JOG dial until tile desired character
appears in tile display.
The cursor disappears and tile first space fi)r tile
Disc Nalne flashes.
As you turn the JOG dial clockwise, tile characters
appear in the tbllowing order. Turn tile JOG dial
counterclockxNise to go in reverse order.

Push tile JOG dial to select tile character.
The selected character lights up, and tile flashing
cursor appears at tile next space m be input.

To make a correction
Move the cursor to the position that you want to change,
then press CLEAR and begin again by inputting the
CO1Tect characters.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to input more characters.
Press YES to store the Disc Name.
The display shows tile Disc Name.

Repeat steps 1 to 7 to assign Disc Names to other
discs.
To change the character type quickly while inputting
characters
Press DISPLAY in step 4 ahove. The character on the
ctusor changes to the fhst character of each character
type. Each time you press DISPLAY, the character type
changes as %llows:
_-_ A -------+a----------+0 -------+ ' ----------+(st, a_'e)_
Changing the Disc Name
1 Follow steps 1 to 3 in "Labeling discs on tile
player" on page 23 to select tile Disc Name you
want to change.
Turn tile n<I<:1AMS Dt>D dial to move tile cursor to
the position you want to change.
When the cursor position is on a character, tile
character flashes but when the cursor position is
on a blank space, the flashing cursor (_) appears
in tile display.
To change characters
Turn tile JOG dial until tile desired character
appears in tile display.
Toadd characters
Push the JOG dial. Tile new blank space appears
next to tile selected character, then turn the JOG
dial until the desired character appears ill tile
display.
To erase characters
Press (;LEAR. Tile selected character disappears.
3 Repeat step 2 to change inore characters.
4 Press YES to store the Disc Nalne.
Erasing the Disc Name
1 Follow steps 1 to 3 in "Labeling discs on tile
player" on page 23 to select tile Disc Name you
want to erase.
2 Turn tile n<:1<1AMS C>t>Ddial to move the cursor to
the first character, then press and hold CLEAR
until all tile characters are erased.
3 Press YES.
Tile Disc Name disappears.
