The
block
length
requests
that
the
controller
use
the
logical
block
length
specified
for
data
transfers.
The
controller
will
accept
the
block
lengths
as
shown
in
Table
5-4.
Any
other
value
will
be
considered
an
error.
The
command
will
be
terminated
with
a
CHECK
CONDITION
status.
The
sense
key
is
set
to
ILLEGAL
REQUEST
and
the
additional
sense
code
is
set
to
INVALID
FIELD
IN
PARAMETER
LIST.
The
block
length
is
applicable
to
the
whole
disc
except
the
audio
tracks.

Each
page
descriptor
specifies
parameters
for
the
controller
to
use
for
subsequent
operations
on
the
specified
logical
unit.
The page
descriptors
are
specified
in
section
5.3.
The
parameter
length
field
specifies
the
length
in
bytes
of
the
parameters
that
follow
for
that
page.
The
initiator
shall
set
this
value
to
the
value
that
is
returned
in
the
parameter
length
field
for
the
same page by
the
MODE
SENSE
command.
If
this
condition
is
not
met,
the
controller
will
terminate
the
command
with
a
CHECK
CONDITION
status.
The
sense
key
is
set
to
ILLEGAL
REQUEST
and
the
additional
sense
code
is
set
to·
INVALID
FIELD
IN
PARAMETER
LIST.
