Notes on Use
Notes on Placement

• On an unbalanced table or in an unstable location
• On a carpet or a bed
• In a damp environment or a place with poor ventilation
• In a dusty environment
• In an environment exposed to direct sunlight or a hot
place.
• In an extremely cold environment.
• In a place close to a tuner, a television, or a video deck.
(If you use this unit close to a tuner, a television, or a
video deck, noise may occur, or the image on your
television screen may appear distorted. These
phenomena take place especially when you use an
indoor antenna. It is recommended that you use an
outdoor antenna.)
• In a place close to appliances generating a strong
magnetic field, such as a microwave and a large
speaker.
Notes on Installation
Do not place a heavy object on this unit.
Adjusting the volume
Compared to records, discs are designed to minimize
noise. Just like when you play a record, adjusting the
volume corresponding to the level of the noise between
sounds may lead to an unexpectedly loud volume, causing
damage to your speakers.
Make sure you turn down the volume before you play
music.
Manners when listening to stereo
music
When listening to stereo music, adjust
the volume not to disturb the comfort
or repose of any person in the
vicinity. Especially at night, even a
small sound reaches far and wide.
Shut your windows or use
headphones to give consideration to
others in your neighborhood and
preserve a pleasant living
environment. This is a symbol mark
representing good listening manners.
