Introduction
The Startup Guide (this document) describes the basic
settings and operations to begin using the MVS-6520/
6530/3000A/3000 system.
For details about settings and operations, refer to the
User’s Guide.
System name and nomenclature
An MVS system using the MVS-6520, MVS-6530, or
MVS-3000A Multi Format Switcher Processor is referred
to as the “MVS-6520/6530/3000A system,” and an MVS
system using the MVS-3000 Multi Format Switcher
Processor is referred to as the “MVS-3000 system.”
In this document, the MVS-6520/6530/3000A system and
MVS-3000 system are collectively referred to as the
“MVS system.”
Also, the ICP-6520, ICP-6530, ICP-3000, and ICP-3016
control panels are collectively referred to as the “ICP-
series control panel.”

describe functions and procedures may vary depending on
the system configuration.
