CARE AND CLEANING
All care and
cleaning operations should be
carried
out with the unit
unplugged from
the
mains
power.
The su
rface
of the unit can be cleaned with
a
barely damp cloth and then dried carefully.
Never
use abrasives, abrasive cloths or chemical
solvents.
Cleaning the Tape Deck
Use
a
cotton bud slightly moistened with alcohol or
a
special
head cleaning fluid to
clean
the
deck.
1.
Press
the
button to open the cassette
compartment.
2.
Press
the
button and clean the rubber pressure rollers
(A).
3.
Press
the
button and clean magnetic heads (C) and Capstan
(B).
4.
After cleaning, press
the button.
Note: Cleaning of the heads can also be done by playing a cleaning cassette through once.
