Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT
Version 1.1
November 2017
We recommend saving data backups on a remote computer so that you have
access even in case of a hardware defect. If the backup is started locally on the
Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT, you should download the backup into the download
directory of the user “pbgui” using “Download” and then copy it to an external
medium (e.g. USB stick). If the backup is started from a remote computer, the
backup can also be downloaded to the PC using “Download”.
5.5 Restoring Data Backup
Any data backup can be restored via the “RESTORE” menu item. The restoration process
distinguishes between backups which are already saved on the Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT
and “Remote backups” which are possibly saved on an external medium. Via this menu item,
you can also reset the Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT to the as delivered state.
If you restore a backup or reset it to the as delivered state, the setting applicable
at the time of restoration will be lost. Backups, however, will be maintained.
5.6 MQTT-Broker Configuration
The Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT is equipped with an MQTT-Broker which can be used to
deliver messages on the basis of the MQTT protocol.
Configuration changes must be saved by clicking on the “Save changes” button. The changes
are applied by clicking on the “Apply changes” button which will restart the MQTT-Broker
service.
