Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT

7.1 General
As already mentioned, no specific Linux knowledge is required for using the Spectra
PowerBox 100-IoT. However, in rare cases, the Linux console must be used for some
functions and maintenance options. Moreover, it might become necessary to inspect
protocols, in particular when developing Node-Red flows.
For security reasons, the user interface is operated on the basis of a user account (“pbgui”)
which does not have any privileged authorisations. Special maintenance tasks, however,
require administrator / root rights.
7.2 Standard Passwords
In the as delivered state, the Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT has two passwords.
The login details in the as delivered state are provided on the enclosed sheet.
It is very important to change these passwords immediately
after commissioning!
7.3 Opening the Local Console
Press the start button at the bottom left screen edge to
access the “Terminal Emulator” application.
