5.4 Data Backup
Data backup is important to be able to restore the previous operating state in case of data
loss or incorrect configuration. A tool is integrated in the “BACKUP” menu item which can be
used to generate a backup, if necessary.
The backup mechanism generates a compressed archive file with the following contents:
• Node-Red configuration and/or flows as well as a Node-Red module
• MQTT-Broker configuration
• Linux users and passwords
• Host names
• Own elements from the Web server root (/var/www/custom)
• Desktop settings and profile of the user “pbgui”
The screen allows for
• starting a backup run
• accessing a list of earlier backups saved on the Spectra PowerBox 100-IoT
• downloading backups
• deleting backups
