Troubleshooting
Here is an overview of the most common problems. If you have any further questions please contact your Spectral dealer.
Problem Possible cause Solution
Sound system does
not turn on.
1. Power cable not connected to the power outlet and / or sound
system.
Check connection.
Sound system does
not respond
to remote control.
1. The battery is at. 1. Change the battery.
2. Protective lm is not removed. 2. Remove the protective lm on the remote control.
No sound or volu-
me is too low.
1. Device does not output a signal. (Output on the source device is
not activated or volume is set too low).
1. Unlock output and/or increase volume (please see the operating
instructions for the device).
2. Cable is not correctly connected/defective cable. 2.1 Check the connection on the device to the sound system and
replace the cable if necessary.
2.2 Check that the protective cap has been removed from
the plug of the optical cable.
The device does
not automatically
switch on for the
optical and coaxial
input.
1. The AUT function is initially disabled upon delivery (OFF). 1. Activate the AUT function (ON), page50.
2. The device has been put in standby mode via the „“Power““ button. 2. Turn on the device using the „“Power““ button on the remote
and wait until it automatically goes into standby mode.
3. The device was switched to the other digital input which has no
signal and has turned o automatically.
3. Turn on the device using the „“Power““ button on the remote
and select the digital input to which the desired source device is
connected.
