Why is my Spektrum Transmitter not binding to the aircraft?

  There are several reasons why your Spektrum transmitter might fail to bind to the aircraft. It could be due to the transmitter being too close to the aircraft during the binding process; move the transmitter a few feet away, then disconnect and reconnect the flight battery to the aircraft. Large metal objects near the aircraft or transmitter can also interfere; move them away. Ensure the bind plug is correctly installed in the bind port. Low battery charge in either the flight battery or transmitter can prevent binding; replace or recharge the batteries. Finally, if you're using an NX6 EU version transmitter with a DSM2 receiver, they are not compatible.

  If your Spektrum aircraft responds irregularly to controls, and the flight log registers an undesirable number of fades, losses, or holds, it could be due to several factors. Poor signal reception can be a cause, so reposition remote receivers for improved RF signal path diversity. Electronic feedback from servos or motor systems to the ESC or receiver might also be the problem; check for and stop any feedback. Low power is another potential cause; check the aircraft's power draw and increase battery power or decrease power demand by installed systems. Ensure all aircraft batteries are fully charged and that the installed BEC for an electric aircraft is adequate for the power demand.
