PC returns the next message in the error message queue. If the queue is empty the LBA-PC
returns the current verbose setting, i.e. “ERR Verbose=b”. The status of the error message

EMAV bit is set in the status byte (STB) and
a text message containing a brief
explanation of the error is placed in the
error message queue. To retrieve error
messages use “:ERR?”. All error messages
begin with the characters “!!!”.
