IF
AFTER
INSTALLATION
THE
UNDERSIDE
SURFACE
IS
ACCESSIBLE
THROUGH UNDER-BENCH CUPBOARDS,
IT IS
ESSENTIAL
THAT A
RIGID
BARRIER
IS
INSTALLED
TO
RESTRICT
ACCESS.
The
barrier
must
be
of
low thermal
conductivity
material
(e.g.
wood)
and
must
have
as
many
0
70mm
holes
at
1
00mm
centres
as
possible
cut
into
it.
The barrier
must
be
positioned
directly
under
the appliance
at
least 50mm
away
from
the
base
of the
unit.
The
barrier should
extend
for
at
least
the
width
of the
unit
and
back
for
the total
depth
of
the
cupboard.
