6 Printer Setup
Important!
Be sure to double check that the ribbon is properly positioned between the print
head and print head shield. If it isn’t, you may get poor print quality or even
end up damaging the ribbon.
❏ Replace the front cover of the printer. Press down on the raised parts at the
back of the cover until it snaps securely shut.
Installing the paper support

Insert the ends of the paper support into the slots on the printer as shown in
the following illustration.
