TRACTION BOOSTER
Weight Transfer System
This unit is equipped with a weight transfer
system. A hydraulic accumulator is the key element to
the weight transfer. Pressurizing the accumulator
increases the weight transfer from the front mounted
implement to the tractor. It is very important to reduce
the
accumulator
pressure before removing front
mounted attachments or servicing the unit.
Setting weight transfer settings
1.
Attach front mounted attachment.
2.
Start engine.
3.
Observe gauge
on
dash (See Photo 6).
To
increase pressure to desired setting, move the
lever toward the operator (See Photo
7).
To
decrease pressure, move the lever away from the
operator. The pressure can be increased or
decreased at any time while the engine is running.
4.
Set front lift lever
in
the "FLOAT' position.
5. If attachment floats too freely, reduce pressure. If
more traction is needed, increase pressure.
•~t•JiP
The Weight transfer system
is
effective only
when the front lift lever
is
in
the "FLOAT"
position.
