6.86 Steam Leaks
Condition
Sterilizer exhibiting steam leaking from the sterilizer.

Steam leaking from the sterilizer
1. Contact STERIS.
6.87 Too Long In Air Break-ALM
Condition
Display indicates Too Long to Airbreak. Printer prints Too Long to Airbreak.Alarm occurs when the system takes more
than 300 seconds (5 minutes) to airbreak a steam sterilizer.
The alarm does not affect machine operation (continues attempting to airbreak).
Acknowledging the alarm resets the alarm timer.
Alarm clears automatically upon reaching airbreak pressure target.
Sterilizer will automatically try to complete cycle.

Acknowledge alarm
1. Rerun cycle
2. If alarm recurs, call STERIS.
6.88 Too Long In Charge – ALM
Condition
Display indicates Too Long in Charge. Printer prints Too Long to Charge.
This alarm occurs when the system is in the charge step and the sterilize temperature has not been achieved within
thirty minutes.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Steam generator has no 3 phase and/or control power
1. Silence alarm.
2. Contact facility maintenance to check electrical
supplies to steam generator.
3. Contact STERIS if alarm recurs.
