1.1.2 Setting the Master Control Lever™
To move the Master Control Lever™ from the run
position F to start }, press down the trigger lockout
and squeeze the throttle trigger at the same time
and hold them in that position – move Master
Control Lever™ to start } and let go of the throttle
trigger and trigger lockout.
When the trigger lockout is depressed and the
throttle trigger pulled, the Master Control Lever™
springs from the start position } to the run
position F.
To shut off the engine, move Master Control Lever™
in direction of STOP or † – when released, the
Master Control Lever™ returns to the run position F.
2. Shroud
One-piece shroud with three quick-action locks for
quick and easy access to the air filter and cylinder –
very service and user friendly.
. Open the quick-action locks (1) by rotating
them a 1/4 turn counterclockwise with the
combination wrench.
. Remove the shroud (2).
3. HD2 Air Filter
– HD2 air filter:
Black filter frame, pleated filter material
The new filter material is characterized by its oil and
water repellent properties, 70% better filtration
compared to conventional filter concepts and it is
very easy to clean. The filter retains its properties
even after numerous cleaning cycles. The HD2
filter's material is pleated to achieve a large surface
area.
Suitability
For normal, dry or very dusty work areas.
3.1 Removing the Air Filter
. Remove the shroud and clean away loose dirt
from around the filter.
Remove the filter from the filter base – no tools
required.
. Rotate the air filter one quarter turn
counterclockwise and lift it away in direction of
rear handle.
Always replace a damaged filter.
