  Your Stihl Lawn and Garden Equipment engine might fail to start due to several reasons. It could be due to insufficient fuel in the fuel tank, so you should prepare fuel mix and refuel the trimmer. Alternatively, the engine may be flooded, in which case you should attempt to start it with the choke lever in the appropriate position. If the carburetor is too hot, allow the trimmer to cool down and depress the manual fuel pump at least 10 times before attempting to start the engine. Also, the carburetor may have iced up, so allow the brushcutter to warm up to +10°C.
