Observe safety precautions
Start as follows
: Move the blade lock lever (1)
to z
: Move the slide control (2) to #
: Squeeze the throttle trigger (3) and
move the slide control to START at
the same time.
: Release the throttle trigger.
: Let go of the slide control, this is
the starting throttle position.
: Set the choke lever (4):
For cold start to
g
For warm start to e
: Press fuel pump bulb (5) at least five
times – even if bulb is filled with fuel.
: Put your hedge trimmer on firm
ground.
: Remove the blade scabbard.
! Make sure that the cutting blades
are not touching the ground or any
other obstacles.
: Make sure you have a firm footing.
: Place your left foot on the housing.
: Hold the unit firmly on the ground
with your left hand on the control
handle.
