25 Installation Examples
Mowing area around a free-standing building:
– Docking station: Location(1) at the perimeter of the
mowing area. The house(A) is blocked off with a
restricted area. The docking station therefore cannot be
set up in the immediate vicinity of the house. Route the
power cable from the house to the docking station in a
suitable cable duct.
– Restricted area: Installation of the perimeter wire(2)
around the house, based on a linking section installed at
right angles to the edge.
– Wire clearances:
– Clearance from obstacles which can be travelled on
such as patios and paths: 0in. (0cm)
– Clearance from high obstacles such as walls and fences
at the edge: 10.6in. (27cm)
– Programming: No further modification is necessary
following definition of the size of the mowing area.
– Particulars: In the area of the acutely angled lawn
corner(3), route the perimeter wire as illustrated. Avoid
angles of less than 90°. Cut the area in the corner of the
lawn regularly with a suitable trimmer or other tool.
