Warning
When speed trap lasers are detected, this
screen will be displayed and you will hear
the corresponding warning. If you have the
LaserShield
®
function on, your Shield will
automatically deploy.
Shield-up time
The LaserShield
®
will remain in effect for 4 to 9 seconds, depending on the ‘Shield-up’ time you
have selected (the factory Shield-up time setting is 6 seconds). After this ‘Shield-up Time’ the
LaserShield
®
protection will automatically end, enabling the speed gun to measure your speed.
The LaserShield
®
will never be active when your speed is below 30 km/h (or 19 mph).
