Pyrolytic self-cleaning function
Before using the pyrolytic self-cleaning function:
Take out the baking/drip tray and oven shelf and remove both side racks
from the oven (see opposite). Do not leave any utensils in the oven during cleaning.
Remove excess spillage from the cavity.
Keep children away from the oven during pyrolytic cleaning as the
appliance surfaces may get hotter than usual.
With the oven in standby mode, press
the FUNCTION [ F ] button THREE TIMES
repeatedly to enter into pyrolytic self-cleaning
mode. The display will show the pyrolytic
self-cleaning symbol and the default self-
cleaning time (Fig. 6).
The pyrolytic self-cleaning time may be increased to 2 or 3 hours. To amend
the time period, press the PLUS/MINUS [ +/- ] buttons, and then press the
[OK] button.
If you do not want to extend the pyrolytic self-cleaning time, just press the
[OK] button and the oven will start the operation.
When the temperature in the oven cavity reaches 300°C, the oven door will
be locked automatically and the child lock symbol will appear on the display.
The oven will continue the pyrolytic self-cleaning function for the set time
(1hour by default, or as adjusted).
After the set time, the oven will stop heating and an alarm will sound for
1minute, if there is no operation to the oven, and the pyrolytic self-cleaning
symbol will ash constantly on the display.
When the temperature in the oven cavity has dropped to below 250°C, the
oven door will be unlocked and the oven enters into standby mode.
When the oven has cooled down, wipe the cavity with soft cloth to remove
dry residues (ash). Reattach the side racks and place the oven shelf and
baking/drip tray back as required.
Other Useful Information (Cont.)

IMPORTANT!
We suggest you set the child lock after you have finished setting the oven into
pyrolytic self-cleaning mode to avoid unintentional changing of the settings.
If the power is cut off during pyrolytic self-cleaning, the oven door will remain
locked until the power is on again and the temperature inside the oven has dropped
to below 250°C.
