Under loop stroke one understands the path of the needle from its deepest
position to the point at which the hook point stands above the needle centre.

3.3.1 Setting the loop stroke (Fig. 3)
Attention!
Disconnect machine from the mains!
The loop stroke is set at the works to 2 mm at the right needle penetration. If a
different loop stroke is required, proceed as follows:
By releasing the screws in the bevel gear (2) and turning this the hook takes up
the thread loop earlier or later.
When tightening the screw a normal play between the bevel gears must be
observed.
When altering the loop stroke the needle lever must almost always be adjusted.
