This
key
switches
the
programming
mode on
or off. In active
programming
mode, the
message STEP
lAl
on the
display
window
flashes; when this indication
is steady
a
program
is
in
process
of being
executed.
A
program
can be entered
at any
time.
regardless of whether or
not a CD
is
being
played.
The only
restriction
is that no com
mand keys may be
pressed (exceptions
are
mentioned
in
the specific
sections),
otherwise
the
program
sequence
would be
initiated.
These keys are used
for
paging
up
or down
through
the
program
in
up
to 19
possible
steps.
They can also be used
for
post
editing
of an
existing
program.
This key moves the cursor
in the DISPLAY
window from left to
right
so
that any
position
can be accessed
for input. The cursor
moves
to
the
right
by
one
position
each
time this
key
is
pressed.

Switches the input mode
from TRACK input
to TIME input or vice versa so
that the start
and
end times
can also be
programmed
(DISC
TIME)
With this button the start and stop
marks
(always
DISC TINIE) can be
programmed
in
play
or search
mode.
Memory
write
button.
Must be
pressed
upon
completion of each
program
step
input
so
that the
program
step
will be stored
in
memory.
Subsequently
the
next
program
STEP
is
displayed
and can be
entered or
edited.
