Why doesn't my Sunbeam TORINO espresso have crema?

  If your espresso lacks crema when using your Sunbeam Coffee Maker, it could be due to several reasons: the coffee might be old or dry, not tamped firmly enough, ground too coarsely, or there might not be enough coffee in the filter basket. To improve crema, use fresh coffee beans and store them properly in an airtight container away from heat and light. Tamp the coffee more firmly and use a finer grind.

  If you're not getting enough froth in the milk when using your Sunbeam Coffee Maker, several factors could be the cause: the milk might be too warm, the frothing jug could be affecting the result, the steam wand might be blocked, the milk may have been boiled, or not enough air has been drawn into the milk. To improve frothing, ensure the milk is refrigerated before use. For best results, use a stainless steel jug, and if possible, refrigerate or run the jug under cold water before use. Discard burnt milk and start again with fresh, chilled milk. Before starting to texture your milk, place the steam wand into the milk approximately 1cm below the surface, then gradually turn the steam dial fully on to gently draw air into the milk to create micro-foam.
