Control Panel Header
JF1 contains header pins for various control panel connections. See the gure below for the
pin locations and denitions of the control panel buttons and LED indicators.
All JF1 wires have been bundled into a single cable to simplify this connection. Make sure
the red wire plugs into pin 1 as marked on the motherboard. The other end connects to the
control panel PCB board

Power Button
The Power Button connection is located on pins1 and 2 of JF1. Pressing this button will power
on/off the system. The button can also be congured to function as a suspend button with a
BIOS setting. To turn off the power in suspend mode, press the button for at least 4 seconds.
Reset Button
The Reset Button connection is located on pins 3 and 4 of JF1. Attach it to a hardware reset
switch on the computer case to reset the system.
