4.5 IPMI
Use this feature to confi gure Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) settings.
When you select this submenu and press the <Enter> key, the following information will
display:
• IPMI Firmware Revision: This feature indicates the IPMI fi rmware revision used in your
system.
• Status of BMC: This feature indicates the status of the BMC (Baseboard Management
Controller) installed in your system.
System Event Log
Enabling/Disabling Options
SEL Components
Select Enabled to enable all system event logging upon system boot. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
Erasing Settings
Erase SEL
Select "Yes, On next reset" to erase all system event logs upon next system boot. Select
"Yes, On every reset" to erase all system event logs upon each system reboot. Select "No"
to keep all system event logs after each system reboot. The options are "No", "Yes, On next
reset", and "Yes, On every reset".
