4 Application
The S401 is a flow sensor that is designed to measure the consumption
of compressed air and gases within the permissible operating
parameters (See chapter 6 Technical data ).
The S401 can measure the following values:
• Volumetric flow of the compressed air or gas (default unit: m
3
/h).
• Total consumption of the compressed air or gas (default unit: m
3
).
Other units are configurable using the S4C-FS android app, the optional
display or the service kit.
The S401 flow sensor is mainly used in compressed air or gas systems
in industrial environments, and is not developed to be used in explosive
areas. For the use in explosive areas please contact the manufacturer.
