Compression Check
Check compression pressure on all 6 cylinders as follows :
1) Warm up engine.
2) Stop engine after warming up.
3) Remove ignition coil covers and disconnect ignition coil har-
ness couplers.
4) Remove all ignition coils (1) and spark plugs (2).
5) Remove surge tank cover.
6) Disconnect fuel injector wire harness at connector.
7) Install special tool (Compression gauge) into spark plug
hole.

(C) : 09915-67010
8) Disengage clutch (to lighten starting load on engine) for M/T
vehicle, and depress accelerator pedal all the way to make
throttle fully open.
