Coolant Temperature Meter
“” A
The coolant temperature meter
indicates coolant temperature.
When the coolant temperature
gets too much high, the coolant
temperature indicator light B
comes on.
NOTE: The needle points “H”
when the engine stop switch is
turned to the “OFF” position with
the ignition switch in “ON” posi-
tion.
Engine RPM Indicator
C, “” E
The engine rpm indicator light C
will light or blink when the engine
speed reaches a preset engine
rpm.
Lighting mode, light brightness
and preset engine rpm can be set
using the selection mode. To
enter the selection mode, press
and hold the SEL button F and
turn on the ignition switch. Hold
the button for more than 2 sec-
onds to change the mode.
NOTE: The instrument panel
memorizes the engine rpm indica-
tor setting data when the ignition
switch is turned off. However, the
memory data will be cleaned
when the battery power supply is
cut off.
Light/Blink/No Light Selection
Push the ADJ button H to change
the lighting mode. The mode
changes as follows: LIGHT
→
BLINK → NO LIGHT → LIGHT.
The engine rpm indicator light C
comes on steady in the LIGHT
mode and blinks in the BLINK
mode. The engine rpm indicator
mark “” E comes on when the
mode is in LIGHT or BLINK mode
is selected. When the SEL but-
ton F is pushed in the NO LIGHT
mode, the selection mode is can-
celed. The selection mode is also
canceled when the motorcycle
speed exceeds 10 km/h (7 mph).
CAUTION
Running the engine with high
engine coolant temperature
can cause serious engine dam-
age. If the engine coolant tem-
perature indicator light comes
on, stop the engine to let it
cool.
Do not run the engine run until
the coolant temperature indica-
tor goes off.
