7.19 230V mains electrical equipment
power consumption
Please note:
It is possible that the 230V mains electrical
equipment may not all operate simultaneously.
A typical UK motorhome site mains hook up
point provides a maximum output of 10 amps
and on some continental sites the available
output may be as low as 5 amps.
If your loading exceeds the site supply it may
trip the site circuit breaker. Please check the
available mains output with your site operator.
Similarly loadings on each circuit breaker within
the vehicle should be observed.
A label positioned close to the MCB’s will identify
which appliances within the vehicle are fed
from which MCB. Consulting the table (Typical
Appliance Consumption Figures) in conjunction
with this label, will give an indication of which
appliances can, and cannot, (site supply
allowing), be operated simultaneously.
