3. Unhitching
Apply the caravan handbrake.
Lower the jockey wheel to the ground.
Disconnect the breakaway cable and road
lighting plugs.

Release the stabiliser by lifting the red
handle. Then lift the exposed black handle
forward until it clicks up, at the same time
winding down the jockey wheel, to lift the
caravan clear of the towing vehicle.

Operate the handle by depressing the locking
button on the lever mechanism and lift the
handle upwards and forwards, at the same
time winding down the jockey wheel, to
assist in lifting the caravan clear of the
towing vehicle.
When this operation is complete, replace
towball cover and secure the 12N+12S
cables in their storage cups.
Park your vehicle alongside the caravan on
the offside.
