 Remove the 2 screws ○A on the rear side of the front right cover.
 Remove the 2 screws ○A and the 2 plastic nuts ○B .
 Carefully pull the front right cover outward, take care of the 3 tenons ○A .
 Open the fuse box to check the fuses ○B .
 Reverse the above steps to restore.
If a fuse fails, inspect the electrical system to determine the cause, and replace it with a new fuse of proper
amperage or have the fuses replaced by an authorized SYM dealer. Do not replace it with any material other
than the specified fuse. Have the scooter checked by an authorized SYM dealer if the fuse fails repeatedly.

Battery Inspection
This scooter is equipped with a sealed type battery. There is no need to check the electrolyte level or add
distilled water. The battery is located behind the front right cover.
To take out the battery, do as the following instructions.
 Remove the front right cover, refer to Fuse Inspection (page 40).
 First disconnect the (-) terminal cable ○A then the (+) terminal ○B .
 Remove the battery band ○C and take out the battery carefully.
