1 Introduction
1.1 Product description
This product is a roof fan for normal ventilation, smoke and
heat extraction� The product has an EC motor, a safety
switch, and a casing with integrated bird protection, made
from seawater resistant aluminium�
DVG-H has horizontal air exhaust�
DVG-V has vertical air exhaust�
All DVG EC fans can communicate via MODBUS�
DVG EC size 350-450 have a swing-out function on the
casing for easy access to impeller�
The product is not supplied with a speed control or
installation equipment, these parts are available as
accessories�
1.2 Intended use
The product is used for transportation of clean or contaminat-
ed air with temperatures from -20 to 120 °C in continuous
operation, and 95% air humidity� Ambient temperature -20 to
70 °C�
The product is intended for installation in outdoor
environments on rooftops, connected to a duct system�
The product can also be used for exhaust of smoke and hot
gasesintheeventofre,andcanresisttemperaturesupto
a maximum of 400 °C for 120 minutes� If the fan is used for
exhaust of smoke or hot gases, the fan must be replaced�
DVG-H with horizontal outlet is intended for installation on
roofsandhassnowloadclassicationSL1000.
Note:
Make sure that the height of the roof base is applicable�
DVG-V with vertical outlet is intended for installation on the
roofsandhassnowloadclassicationSL0.
The product is not applicable for transportation of air that
containsexplosive,ammableoraggressivemedia.The
product is not applicable for locations where there is a risk of
explosion�

This document contains instructions for installation, operation
and maintenance of the product� The procedures must be
done by approved personnel only�
