4.2 To install the product
1� Systemair recomends to install the product together with
roof curb�
Put the supplied temperature resistant sealing tape on
the contact surface between base plate and the roof�
2� Install the fan on the roof curb with 1 screw in each
corner of the fan base plate�
3� Install the roof curb on the roof in accordance with
applicable building standards and connect the fan to a
duct system�
Warning
The installation of cables must ensure
uninteruptedpowersupplyincaseofre
or extreme heat� Use cable protection
made of temperature resistant material if
neccessary� Do not run any cables on
the fan casing as the fan casing will have
high temperature during smoke or heat
extraction�
Note:
Makesurethatthepowersupplycableissucientlylong
for the swing out casing (size 355-450) to open�
4� For DVG-V, install the supplied vertical outlets�
a� Remove the 3 screws (A)�
B� Put the vertical outlet (B) in the correct position on
the product�
C� Install the 3 screws (A)�
D� Do these steps again on the opposite side of the
product�

4.2.1 To open a product with swing
out casing, size 355-450
1� Loosenthescrewsthatholdstheswingoutbar.Refer to
product overview�
2� Turn the fan casing upwards from the bottom plate�
3� Install the swing out bar with screws in the screw holes�
Note:
To prevent condensation in cold corners, keep the fan in
constant operation�
4.3 To connect the duct to the
product
Note:
Install the product so that unwanted vibrations are not
transmitted to duct system or roof beams�
Note:
Systemair recommends to install the product together with
a roof curb� The roof curb is available as an accessory�
Note:
Make sure that the installation location has space for
maintenance, and that the roof joints can hold the weight of
the product�
Note:
Make sure that the height of the roof curb is a minimum of
250 mm above the rooftop to prevent snow to cover the fan�
Note:
Obey local laws and regulations for installation of the roof
curb on the roof�
Caution
Do not install the fan in areas where the
fan is at risk of very bad wind�
